Important Information

Pet Care Waiver

  • All clients must sign the waiver linked above in order to begin services with us. All clients must provide proof of rabies vaccination.

  • Scheduling/Flexibility
  • As the sole owner and operator of Bark at the Moon, LLC, I do my best to accommodate everyone. All clients are on a first-come, first-serve basis for all services. I cannot hold spots for potential bookings. For all scheduled services, please allow for a 1-2 hour window around your preferred time frame. This allows for last minute bookings, cancellations, traffic, weather, and possible emergencies.

  • Payment
  • Cash and Venmo ONLY. No checks will be accepted.

  • Payment must be collected within 24 hours of the last scheduled visit. Clients may choose to pay up front if they wish. Vacation care balance must be paid up front. If paying with cash, please leave the money for me prior to the start of service. If I have to come collect cash payment after completion of services, there will be a $10 fee for time and travel.

  • Cancellation Policy
  • I understand that life happens, plans change and sometimes it is out of our control, however, please consider that last minute cancellations prohibit me from being able to accommodate other clients in need of my services . As with any service-based business - time is valuable.

  • - Dog walks/cat care/small animal care: $20 cancellation fee if cancelled 48 hours or less prior to the scheduled visit
  • - Vacations: 30% nonrefundable deposit to be paid up front upon booking; 20% cancellation fee if bookings are cancelled 1 month or less prior to the first day of service
  • - Overnights: 30% nonrefundable deposit is required upon booking; 20% cancellation fee will be collected, regardless of notice given

  • Please be advised if you cancel after I have already arrived at your residence for the visit, you will be charged the full rate for that visit plus the cancellation fee.

  • Refund Policy Bark at the Moon, LLC holds a no-refund policy. All sales are final.

  • Holiday Rates
  • Scheduled visits will incur a $10 holiday surcharge per visit
  • Holidays include: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Columbus Day, Passover, Good Friday, Easter, Hanukkah, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Labor Day Weekend, President's Day, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July (including the weekend if it falls on a Monday or Friday), Mother's Day & Father's Day.
